After spending 4 days sick in bed, there's nothing like a clean room, fresh sheets and flowers from the yard… The handmade rug on the ground is one of the projects in my book! Can't wait for you all to see it.

Flew home last night from 2 weeks on the east coast. @goldenruledesign picked me up and whisked me immediately out to eat ramen and reconnect. Now, a few moments of quiet at home after walking the dog and before heading down to the studio. It feels so so good to be home…

A beautiful mirror that my fiancé @goldenruledesign made for me as a birthday present a few years ago from wood reclaimed from our house! It was tucked behind our sofa for years! We did some rearranging this weekend, where Adam moved the piano (by himself!) and we made a space for the plants to thrive, the light to reflect, and the room to expand.

So, I've been thinking of adding more than just macramé ready mades, and DIY materials to Modernmacrame.com Think baskets, ceramics, objects of art and design, some vintage or one of a kind pieces, some independent artist wares. Items to complement the interior style that I love… What would you be excited about finding on my website?

A rug always pulls the room together. Now if only there was one big enough to wrap around the whole country… This one is an old favorite from @kayakilims
